& quality products. It all started with the death of a friend, someone who had to battle with sickle cell anemia
for 46 years. It all changed when she was diagnosed with diabetes. With sickle cell and the pain that came with it, this
friend was unable to keep a steady job. Whenever she returned to work, the income with the missed days was not enough
to pay for an insurance plan out of pocket. She managed as much as she could. With the high cost of her prescriptions,with
little or no option, she chose to take care of the illness that was giving her the most pain. Little did she know that
"Mr. Diabetes" was hard at work. Thirteen months after being diagnosed, she went into a diabetic coma
and never woke up!
What a choice!
How many of us have to make such a choice? I am sure there are many like her that have to make
