MEDIPHARM PHARMACY
At MediPharm, we try to promote a culture of service by endeavoring to always meet the needs of our customers. Our paramount objectives are to treat our customers with courtesy, recognition and respect.
In the constantly changing world of health care, our mission remains steadfastly serving our immediate communities as the pharmacy of choice for the needy, the poor, the uninsured and the underinsured. We prepare for future challenges and train to adopt to new ways of delivering pharmacy services.
Prescriptions are affordable to those who would otherwise have gone without their prescription drugs due to increasing costs of prescription medicines. Most people without insurance or limited insurance depend more on visits to the ER than on doctors’ office visits. On discharge from the ER, most patients are given prescriptions, the majority of which are not filled. To avoid complications, prescribed medications need to be filled and taken as instructed. A significant number of patients call the pharmacy to inquire about drug prices but usually decide against filling the prescriptions due to cost considerations. Some patients are insufficiently aware of the importance of the prescribed medications and do not bother to have them filled. Some segments of the population do fill their prescriptions but do not take them as prescribed. All prescriptions are priced to be affordable. We ensure the ready availability of medications when customers call in for drug refills. The pharmacy offers delivery and pick-up of prescriptions (restrictions apply). The pharmacist offers counseling on all new prescriptions. This familiarizes the patient with the drug(s) they are taking, why they are taking them, how and when to take them, possible side effects and on any other issues that might arise. Patients are afforded the opportunity of asking any questions they may have about the medications or any other matters of concern to them.
What distinguishes MediPharm from most other pharmacies, apart from our very affordable prices, is the sense of caring we exhibit. We offer friendly services and endeavor to make our customers satisfied. We usually know them by name and do our best to offer them a fast, friendly and professional service.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP and COURAGE are challenges that I may not win, but I still venture when I know I could lose. HOPE is all I have and HOPE is what keeps MediPharm in the race of entrepreneurship. I am not in the race to win nor am I in the race to lose. I am in the entrepreneurship race to give HOPE to those who dare not HOPE. If I can, so can anyone else. I officially entered this race on January 2008 when many were giving up - voluntarily or involuntarily. I didn't have running shoes (enough finances), nor did I have sports pants (All needed equipments and supplies). I didn't have a sponser (bank loan) nor did I have enough drinking water needed for a race ( Not knowing how to reach my goals. I knew what my goals were, just didn't know how to reach them). What I did have was HOPE. The HOPE to move forward even if I started in the bottom . My message is, I am in the race (I started MediPharm). We all can't win and we all can't be up front. Some people must be in the middle and some will be at the end. What is important is that you had the COURAGE to join and keep in the race with the HOPE to go forward. Join the race today because the right time and tomorrow are dictionary words that will keep you waiting.
